I had this home built to my specifications and three months after moving in had to move because of health reasons. So this house is 'almost' brand new (2024 model). I put a lot of extras into it: solid countertops, skylights in the bathrooms, 2X6 framing, upgraded insulation, extended, private carport with room for two cars, 220 outlet for EV charging in carport, screened porch, outdoor HVAC with efficient gas heating and heat-pump cooling.
It has lots of cabinet space, especially in the kitchen. New washer and dryer only used a few times. Storage shed.
The only utilities required are gas and electric. Water, and waste removal are covered by the park. Because of how well insulated the house is, those costs are low. The only maintenance required is the upkeep of the lot (weeding, trimming, etc). For a fee, some of the park's maintenance folks will take care of that on their off time. The drip irrigation system is taken care of by the park. The house is new so should not need any maintenance for years to come.
The park is very upscale and extremely well-maintained. It sits blocks away from historic Old Mesilla and close to many restaurants. It has two clubhouses, 2 pools (one indoor) a gym, dog parks, and more. Lots of activities are available for its residents.
