225ci slant 6, Push-button 3 speed shifter, (Automatic transmission)
Replaced front & rear shocks, all four brake master cylinders ,fuel pump, fuel filter, water pump, thermostat, fuel lines, heater and radiator hoses, flushed fuel tank and radiator. New tires and battery. Fresh oil change and filter change. (2 oil changes to ensure old oil was adequately flushed)
Brakes need work as well as some front end suspension, ball joints etc.
This car is easy to work on, very basic nuts and bolts. No computers, relays, complicated emission systems. A perfect basic classic car to learn some basic mechanics, electrical systems etc. Air-conditioned system available, but needs to be bolted on and connected, and compressor serviced. The car is 61 years old and needs some tlc, but with the right imagination the possibilities are endless... (low rider, hot rod etc?)
