This is a Chinese copy. I originally bought it with the idea of upgrading it into a decent guitar for a beginner-to-intermediate player. Possibly a backup for a garage band. Unfortunately, the “best laid plans of mice and men” go to shit. The price is lower than the Tele's because I had to do a minor body repair under the pick guard. It will not affect the body's integrity or pliability
I will lose a couple of hundred dollars in labor hours. So it goes, lesson learned, won’t be doing this again. So, here’s what you’re getting for a steal.
Basswood body
Maple neck sanded smooth and finished with six coats of True Oil. Not too slick and not too rough, sweet.
Rosewood (?) Fretboard
Upgraded tuners
Upgraded string trees
Frets leveled and polished
Trash pickups upgraded to Alnico IV
Custom wiring
Upgraded trash pots to Made in Korea (MIK)
Kaish switch
Upgraded output socket
Shielded body cavities with shielding paint.

I consider this guitar comparable to a Squier at twice the price. Look it up, compare specs. Do they shield the body cavities?
