This is a China copy. I originally bought it with the idea of upgrading it to a decent guitar for a beginner to intermediate player. Possibly a backup for a garage band. Unfortunately, the “best laid plans of mice and man” go to shit.
I will lose couple of hundred dollars in labor hours. So it goes, lesson learned, won’t be doing this again. So, here’s what you’re getting for a steal.
Basswood body
Maple neck sanded smooth and finished with six coats of True Oil. Not too slick and not too rough, sweet.
Rosewood (?) Fretboard
Upgraded tuners
Upgraded string trees
Frets leveled and polished
Trash pickups upgraded to Alnico IV
Custom wiring
Upgraded trash pots to Made in Korea (MIK)
Kaish switch
Upgraded output socket
Shielded body cavities with copper foil.
D’Addario XL 10’s
Set the action to Fender specs.

I consider this guitar to be comparable to a Squier at twice the cost. Look it up, compare specs. Do they shield the body cavities?
