Up for sale is a MEP803A, 10kw tatical quiet generator with only 18 hours on it from the military rebuilder. This entire unit was overhauled in 2010 by Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA/ Tier 2 reset, as noted on the body tag on the generator. A Tier 2 reset means a complete overhaul, this unit still bears the break in tags. This 10KW generator came from the military. This machine is in new condition, you don't find them like this very often. This generator has a 4 cylinder diesel engine. The generator is a marathon 10 wire self exciting generator. The output is 115/220/240 volts single phase (like your house uses) and its also 208 volts 3 phase (like they have in industrial buildings) plenty of power to run a house comfortably during the next storm or power outage. This generator is also EMP proof. (EMP, Electromagnetic Pulse) The two fuel filters are new as well as the oil and coolant. I have installed two brand new batteries, a matched set and what this machine calls for. The output voltage is right where it should be. This unit is very dependable, and built solid as a rock. No expense was spared when this was built. The unit weight is 1,200 LBS and yes the trailer does come with it. The trailer is equipped with lunette ring for use with a pintle hitch. It also has a crank-up front leg and an adjustable height rear stabilizer support leg. It has dual parking brakes, one for each wheel. I have installed a new 12v lighting system on the trailer so as to be used on civilian trucks. $9500.00 cash, Firm This is a brand new unit and has been load tested.
