These are 15 gallon, heavy duty, type 2 polyethylene material. They are food safe as they were originally used to store/ship a sugar liquid. They have incremental markings on the side that indicate 3-12 gallons and top off at 15 gallons. On top are 2 threaded openingss with caps and a handle. The smaller opening will fit a 3/4" spigot to connect a tap or hose. The larger threaded opening can be used to fill it.
