Now taking reasonable offers on individual titles that you may want. If you are concerned about a particular condition, you may send an email and ask. I would prefer to sell in groups of 2, 3. or 4 books, if possible, please, at a time. Choose what you want and let me know. These are nearly all FIRST-PERSON, EYEWITNESS accounts by the people who were there.
This collection includes semi-rare books like the one by Kubizek ("I Knew Hitler").
Includes autobiographies and memoirs by key players in WWII: von Papen. Guderian. Gen. LeMay. Gen. MacArthur's own memoir (which is fantastic). Several from the German field marshals (Kesselring, for example) and admirals. Gen. Keitel and Gen. Warlimont right around Hitler's inner circle and at the bunker. Speidel (a semi-rare book) who was 2nd in command under Rommel. Several of Churchill's books. You will be amazed and very pleased with this excellent collection of first-person books.
Perfect for history buffs, home-schooling, a young history major, book dealer, reseller, WWII author, or serious historian of WWII.
CONDITION: Condition varies. Some are clean first edition hardback with dust-cover; some are ex-library or well-worn paperbacks. I took what I could get, when I could get it. Many of the German memoirs were only translated in the 1980's and later, so are softcover professionally-done reprints of the rare, very expensive, or low-supply originals, such as from immediately after the war or the 1950's. They are beautiful books. Some few have my red underlining or possible limited highlighting or (very few) notes in them, since I was using them as references for my own authored WWII books.
