Memorabilia from 1981- The first VLS Missile Test Launch at the LLS-1 USS Desert Ship, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).
I collected these items when I was stationed at WSMR in 1981. The Navy successfully test fired a SM2 missile from one of the VLS launcher cells.
Included in the package group will be the following:
• 2 ea. VLS Coffee Cups - one was used as a pen holder has a light colored ink stain in the cup, this can easily be removed by filling it with Shipboard coffee from the galley. Some signs of wear & ample use.
• 1 ea. VLS Clothing Patch - Very good condition.
• 1 ea. VLS Brochure - has a vertical crease mark in the middle and it shows some light signs of wear.
• 1 ea. 8"x10" Photograph of the test firing. May show some light signs of wear and writing on the back.

All items are the 1981 originals no reproductions. Inspect the photographs and ask questions.
